Which trees most commonly grow truffles?

Most often are: poplar, linden, oak, willow, cherry, hornbeam, hazel and other more rare species. Color, taste and flavor of truffles is determined by many factors, including the specific characteristics of tree species. For example, truffles, which grow in the roots of oak have a severe and deep flavor while those growing on more lime light in color and more mellow flavor.
